Join EY's Global Delivery Services Assurance team as a Technical Accounting Senior Manager. You will be instrumental in providing high-level advisory services related to accounting. This includes expertise in GAAP conversions, accounting policy formulation, implementation of new accounting standards, and disclosure support for IFRS and US GAAP. You will engage with prominent global clients across diverse market sectors, contributing to a better working world.

Lead projects and deliver exceptional client service by overseeing fieldwork and managing engagement status. Effectively communicate client critical success factors to the team. Apply independent professional judgment to accounting standards, staying current with professional standards and firm policies. Research and benchmark client data against industry standards. Provide guidance and feedback to junior team members, contributing to practice development through thought leadership and training. Drive business development by identifying and researching opportunities with new and existing clients.

A strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP is essential, alongside proficiency in international auditing standards. Expertise in technical accounting advisory for complex areas such as business combinations, consolidation, financial instruments, and shared-based payments is required. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. The ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and industry practices, is crucial. A minimum of 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in Assurance, with at least 3 years in Financial Accounting and Advisory, is necessary. Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK) qualifications are mandatory.
