Manage the quality of client service delivery by overseeing fieldwork progress and reporting engagement status. Proactively address client requests, manage expectations for deliverables, and clearly communicate critical success factors to the engagement team.

Collaborate daily with onshore engagement teams to deliver work to clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting concepts and professional standards. Identify and research client service issues, benchmarking client data against industry standards. Apply independent judgment in accounting standards application, including regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with onshore technical accounting teams, providing research assistance on U.S. GAAP and IFRS pronouncements for complex accounting issues. Showcase expertise in special accounting matters, new pronouncements, and technology-driven accounting solutions. Tailor presentations to client-specific attributes and manage various corporate finance transactions from inception to closing.

Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, interpreting feedback on business developments and risks. Understand client marketplaces to address their needs, ensuring consistent communication. Stay informed of industry, regulatory, and business practices, overseeing regulatory adherence. Drive ongoing improvements through reporting, analysis, and process solutions.

Guide junior team members on projects, coordinate activities, and provide feedback. Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, industry events, training, and team communications. Participate in business development activities to identify and research new client opportunities. Contribute to EY's Point of Views, solution development, and engagement tools.

A strong command of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards is essential. You should possess robust technical accounting advisory skills for complex topics such as business combinations, consolidation, share-based payments, and financial instruments (debt/equity).

Effective project management is crucial, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination among cross-functional team members. You will manage accounting matters throughout all project stages, from initial client pitches to audit closing. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills are required.

Demonstrate the ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice are necessary. Experience in accounting and regulatory support for accounting change, special matters, and white paper writing is highly valued.

Provide comprehensive technical accounting guidance on complex issues and transactions, including business combinations, consolidation, stock-based compensation, revenue, and leases. Conduct thorough research and analysis on accounting issues, documenting findings and proposing solutions. Prepare financial statements, including accounting policies and governance frameworks, and optimize accounting processes. Support audits and ensure governance compliance.
