As a Staff member, you will develop and implement solutions within the Insurance service line and collaborate across other service lines. Responsibilities include generating high-quality results, managing priorities, communicating activity status, and accurately reporting chargeable hours. You will also estimate actuarial liabilities for general insurance, analyze historical claims data, perform reserve valuations, review data and methodologies, assess technical provisions and capital calculations, and analyze large losses and CAT benchmarking. Maintaining strong focus on Actuarial exams and developing subject matter expertise are key components of this role.

To be successful in this role, you need at least 1 year of experience in the General Insurance industry, whether in consulting or an insurer. Strong analytical skills, the ability to multitask, and a flexible work attitude are essential. Proficiency in MS-Office Suite is required, with additional strengths in VBA, SAS, R Programming, Python, SQL, and Alteryx being a significant advantage. A strong academic background with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance, supplemented by professional qualifications, is ideal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for report writing and stakeholder presentations. Familiarity with IFRS 17 and Solvency II frameworks is preferred.
