As part of the EY-Valuations group, you'll delve into areas such as business valuation, financial modeling, capital equipment, economics, and complex securities. Conduct comprehensive economic analyses, including market trends, policy impacts, and cost-benefit assessments, to inform client projects. Develop and maintain sophisticated economic and financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives and policy proposals.
Analyze macroeconomic, microeconomic, and industry-specific data to derive actionable insights. Prepare clear and compelling reports, presentations, and visualizations for clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with diverse teams on economic research and advisory projects.
Monitor global economic indicators and trends to guide client strategies. Support policy and program evaluations for various organizations. Mentor junior analysts on research and data analysis techniques. Participate in business development activities, including proposals and thought leadership.
Assume a key role in report generation and detailed financial modeling. Maintain positive professional relationships with global EY offices. Demonstrate strong teamwork and responsibility within engagement teams. Utilize current technology to enhance service delivery. Identify business development opportunities and assist senior leadership on new business initiatives. Stay current with business and economic developments relevant to EY and its clients.
A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, coupled with 3 to 4 years of directly relevant work experience is essential. You should possess a minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience conducting economic impact studies, econometric analysis, sustainability assessments, and macro/microeconomic studies, including forecasting their impact on economies and companies.
We are seeking candidates with excellent thoughtfulness, project management, communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills. Experience in research and impact analysis is crucial. Proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative techniques, and MS Excel is preferred.
Advanced knowledge in sectors such as Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Technology, Consumer Products, Power and Utilities, or Life Sciences will be a significant advantage. Familiarity with databases like Capital IQ and Bloomberg is beneficial. A willingness and ability to travel when required is also necessary.
