Our Real Estate practice offers comprehensive valuation, analytical, and advisory services to a diverse clientele, including developers, investors, lenders, and Fortune 500 companies. With a global network of over 500 Real Estate professionals, including approximately 45 in GDS RE, we provide unparalleled breadth and depth of expertise. GDS RE operates as a strategic partner to global practices, delivering efficient and value-added services for client real estate valuation and diligence needs.

Serve as a key member of client engagement teams, leading the understanding of client needs, conducting analyses, and reporting findings. You will manage commercial real estate underwriting and due diligence engagements across various property types. Responsibilities include performing detailed asset-level analyses, reviewing financial records, and analyzing lease agreements.

Prepare comprehensive reports such as Asset Summary Reports (ASRs) and underwriting memorandums. Conduct financial and cash flow modeling, market research, and document analysis. You will also mentor junior professionals, foster strong client relationships, and supervise a team of 3-5 individuals, providing performance feedback and development opportunities.

A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance is required. Candidates must possess at least 7 years of direct work experience in real estate underwriting and valuation projects. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

Ideal candidates will have a robust understanding of commercial real estate underwriting, due diligence, and credit analysis. Experience analyzing various financial documents, including rent rolls, operating statements, and lease agreements, is crucial. Familiarity with valuation methodologies like the Income Approach and Net Asset Value Method is expected. Experience with research databases such as LoopNet, CoStar, or Capital IQ, as well as developing valuation models and applying financial concepts, is highly valued.
