Lead valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, and strategic planning. Supervise teams in delivering valuations for intangible assets, M&A, financial reporting, tax compliance, and corporate strategy under various accounting standards (e.g., ASC 350, 820). Gain exposure to portfolio and equity valuation, option pricing models, PWERM, Level 3 asset valuation, and debt valuation. Develop detailed financial models and conduct thorough secondary research. Utilize current technology to enhance service delivery and stay updated on market trends. Maintain global professional relationships and mentor junior staff.
Proven expertise in Business Valuation, with experience in financial reporting, tax, and management planning. Demonstrated ability to lead valuation engagements, including supervision of engagement teams. Experience with various valuation techniques and financial modeling, including building models from scratch in MS Excel. Proficiency in MS Excel/VBA, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent project management and teaming abilities. Familiarity with financial engineering or statistical software packages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) and databases like Capital IQ or Bloomberg is advantageous. Willingness to travel as needed. While not mandatory, prior experience in equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or with national valuation/accounting firms is preferred. Progress towards certifications like CFA, ASA, or CPA is a plus.
