As an Assistant Director in our Corporate Finance practice, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through complex financial challenges.
Our EY-VME (Valuation, Modelling and Economics) practice offers a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with diverse clients, including corporations, private equity firms, and government entities. You'll contribute to critical financial decisions, from portfolio reviews and capital allocation to financial planning analytics, driving sustainable growth and future-proofing businesses.
Take the lead in analyzing client issues within corporate finance and reporting findings. Drive report generation and develop intricate financial models. Cultivate a deep understanding of markets and clients to identify new service opportunities and lead stakeholder discussions with a problem-solving mindset. Manage projects autonomously while fostering collaborative teamwork. Nurture strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
Provide value-driven and insightful results through deep functional and sector expertise. Lead high-complexity engagements and manage key client accounts, becoming a trusted advisor. Monitor and intervene in key performance metrics to ensure projects stay on track. Mentor and develop junior professionals within the team.
A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA), or Business is essential. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, preferably from a national valuation firm, accounting firm's valuation practice, quantitative consulting, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or commercial banking. Experience with financial valuation methods like DCF and relative valuations is critical.
Proficiency in leveraging current technology and tools to enhance service delivery is expected. Excellent analytical, project management, communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills are vital for success. The ability to deliver top-quality results within budget and schedule in a fast-paced environment is paramount. Willingness to travel as needed is also a requirement.
