EY-P's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) unit empowers clients to navigate complex situations, including economic shifts, competitive pressures, and capital constraints. Our global network of restructuring professionals provides leadership and strategic advice to improve liquidity, enhance earnings, and unlock value for businesses in distress.
Develop sophisticated financial models for diverse restructuring scenarios, encompassing options and cash flows. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations for business restructuring. Refine financial models based on evolving market trends and business strategies. Proactively address and rectify any inconsistencies or errors in financial models and analysis. Create end-to-end Power BI dashboards for data visualization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting financial modeling.
Provide comprehensive financial modeling training and mentorship to junior team members.
A Chartered Accountancy or MBA in Finance from a premier institution is required. You should possess 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in management consulting at firms like the Big 4, or in financial analytics, or within large Indian corporates with a focus on restructuring, analytics, financial modeling, and corporate finance. Experience with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) or equivalent is also necessary.
Essential skills include a solid grasp of financial modeling principles, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite, and a strong understanding of financial concepts with the ability to analyze financial statements. You must demonstrate proven success in making decisions within fast-paced environments, exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and possess strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects effectively. Familiarity with financial software and databases, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, is also crucial for this role.
