EY-P's Transaction and Restructuring Services (TRS) division specializes in advising clients facing economic shifts, competitive pressures, and capital constraints. Our global network of professionals excels in managing intricate in- and out-of-court restructuring situations, providing actionable strategies to improve liquidity and earnings. We are seeking talented individuals to enhance our capabilities and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Key responsibilities include developing sophisticated financial models for diverse restructuring scenarios and cash flow projections. You will conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations for business turnaround. Refining financial models to adapt to market dynamics and business strategies is crucial. Proactively identifying and rectifying inconsistencies in models and analyses is expected. Additionally, you'll build end-to-end Power BI dashboards for data visualization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives. Staying current with industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting financial modeling is essential. You will also mentor and train junior team members in advanced financial modeling techniques.

Success in this role requires a strong foundation in financial modeling principles and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A solid understanding of financial concepts, including the ability to analyze financial statements, is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate proven ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines are vital. Experience with financial software and databases, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, are expected. A Chartered Accountancy or MBA in Finance from a premier institute is a prerequisite, along with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in management consultancy (preferably Big 4) or financial analytics firms, or with large Indian corporates in restructuring, analytics, financial modeling, or corporate finance roles. Exposure to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) or equivalent is also required.
