Join EY's M&A Deals team as a Manager and shape the future of client growth and synergy realization.
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic and tactical advice to clients navigating acquisitions, market entries, business separations, and capital raising. You will support clients from deal origination through to closing, identifying opportunities, preparing vital client materials, and conducting in-depth analyses.
Leverage your expertise within a dynamic team at a leading global firm, contributing significantly to EYP GDS M&A's strategic objectives and client success across diverse industries and investor types.
Lead M&A advisory services for Global EYP leaders, managing client interactions and relationships with onshore counterparts.
Oversee the entire M&A deal lifecycle, from screening and proposal development to due diligence and investor communications. Develop pitch books, industry and company research, and opportunity papers.
Prepare comprehensive financial models and valuations. Manage and mentor a team of 4-5 individuals, focusing on their learning and development.
Drive service delivery excellence, monitor client satisfaction, and collaborate with clients and team members to enhance processes. Analyze resource needs and gaps across locations.
Travel internationally as required for client assignments.
Possess a strong background in Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance, with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated expertise in preparing pitch books, conducting industry and company research, creating opportunity papers, and developing information memorandums.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation principles, and financial statement analysis is essential. Strong financial research and analytical skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Familiarity with research databases such as Capital IQ and OneSource is expected.
Academic qualifications should include an MBA, PG Diploma in Finance, CFA Level 3 completion, or a CA qualification. The ability to manage time effectively and promote knowledge sharing within the team is crucial.
