Our client base spans diverse industries, including mid-sized corporations, multinational investors, Private Equity firms, and family offices. You will be involved in the entire M&A lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to deal closure, providing critical tactical and strategic advice.
As an Associate Manager in our EYP M&A team, you will lead client interactions and drive delivery by coordinating directly with onshore leaders. You will manage the complete M&A deal lifecycle, from origination to closure, encompassing transaction screening, proposal development, pitch books, industry analysis, valuation, and creating essential deal documentation.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of 2-3 individuals, mentoring team members, and identifying learning and development needs. You will also focus on measuring and improving client service delivery, ensuring team members meet client needs and priorities. This role involves managing multiple medium-sized projects, analyzing resource requirements across locations, and potentially traveling for assignments.
We are seeking an Associate Manager with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Transaction Advisory or Corporate Finance. A strong background in M&A advisory, coupled with expertise in preparing pitch books, industry research, company research, opportunity papers, and financial models is essential.
Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of valuation principles and financial statement analysis, along with robust financial research and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication is a must. Proficiency with research databases such as Capital IQ and OneSource is required. Candidates must also demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage time effectively against budgets, and a proactive approach to knowledge sharing and team building. An MBA, PG Diploma in Finance, CFA Level 3 passed, or CA qualification is required.
