This role offers a significant opportunity within our EYP GDS Lead Advisory Team, focusing on Investment Banking – Capital and Debt Advisory.

Be instrumental in the growth of a dynamic team while being part of a leading global firm. You'll provide tactical and strategic advice to clients, assisting them with inorganic growth, synergy realization, market entry, business divestitures, capital raising, and restructuring. Your support will span the entire deal lifecycle, from pre-deal to closing, including opportunity identification, client material preparation, target identification, valuation, and business planning for a diverse client base across various industries.

As a key member of the EYP GDS Lead Advisory Team, you will deliver Transaction Advisory services to Global SaT leaders, spearheading client interactions and relationship management. You'll manage the full M&A and debt raise lifecycle, from origination through closure. Responsibilities include debt screening, proposal development, pitch book creation, financial modeling, and capital structure analysis.

Lead a team of 2-3 individuals, acting as a mentor and identifying development needs. Drive service excellence by measuring, monitoring, and enhancing client satisfaction. Ensure team focus on key priorities while managing multiple medium-sized projects and ensuring quality service delivery within designated geographical areas. Collaborate with internal and external clients to optimize processes, analyze resource needs, and strategically assign team members based on skills and career aspirations. Provide guidance on complex technical areas and actively participate in performance management processes. International travel may be required.

We seek an Associate Manager with a strong background in Investment Banking, specifically Capital and Debt Advisory. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience is required, alongside an MBA, PG Diploma in Finance, CFA Level 3 qualification, or CA certification.

Essential skills include deep expertise in Transactions (Debt Advisory) or Corporate Finance environments, coupled with robust research capabilities in DCM or Fixed Income research. Proficiency in preparing capital structure analyses, lender presentations, industry research, credit analysis, and term sheets is crucial. A solid understanding of the debt market, instruments, and capital structures is necessary. Excellent financial research, analytical, and communication skills are vital. Familiarity with research databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Loan Connector, and Reuters is expected, along with the ability to efficiently source information. Strong organizational skills, time management, and proactive knowledge sharing are also key attributes.
