EY-Parthenon's Software Strategy Group (SSG) is seeking an Associate Manager to join their GDS team. This role offers a unique career opportunity at the intersection of technology and private equity. SSG assists private equity clients in evaluating investment prospects by identifying critical risks within the software sector.

Our work involves conducting leading product and technology due diligence for software-focused companies. This includes a comprehensive assessment of product capabilities, future roadmaps, underlying technical architecture, software R&D operations, and related organizational processes.

Execute technology due diligence engagements, providing support to engagement managers and Case Team Leaders (CTLs) with ownership for high-quality deliverables from the Global Delivery Services team. Prepare and deliver clear, analytical, and concise reports and presentations for engagement teams and clients, detailing key technological findings, their business impact, and strategic recommendations.

Collaborate closely with partners, case teams, and client teams on daily project activities, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership. Foster and maintain robust relationships with regional case teams throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on project execution and ensuring superior delivery quality. Cultivate and expand long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor. Continuously stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and integrate them into the due diligence process.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the software development process and best practices, with the ability to evaluate the entire product lifecycle from inception and development through deployment and maintenance. Possess strong technical acumen to assess technical architecture, technology stacks, and hosting technologies.

Effectively evaluate complex technology environments and analyze them within the context of business objectives. This includes a strong capacity for understanding, interpreting, and evaluating data. Exhibit a structured thought process and exceptional English communication skills, encompassing active listening, comprehension, reading, and articulate verbal and written communication in professional settings. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
