As part of the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) division, our Infrastructure Advisory (IA) team collaborates with public and private clients on a diverse range of infrastructure projects. We partner with global IA practices across multiple regions, offering expertise in financial modeling, feasibility studies, data analytics, transaction advisory, and more.

This role focuses on leveraging financial modeling and analytics to support capital investments, transactions, and strategic initiatives in the Power, Oil, and Gas sectors. Lead and support client engagements by delivering expert Financial Modelling, Analytics, and Strategic Advisory services. Develop, refine, and enhance complex financial models for infrastructure projects, transactions, and corporate strategy. Provide advisory on transaction support, including M&A, project financing, valuations, and strategic planning. Assist in the development and assessment of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements and project structuring.

Conduct financial feasibility studies, business case development, and cost-benefit analyses. Utilize advanced data analytics, automation, and visualization tools like Power BI, Python, and Excel to derive actionable insights. Validate financial models, identify risks, and present findings clearly to clients. Drive research initiatives, develop innovative analytical tools, and contribute to thought leadership within the Infrastructure Advisory practice globally. Collaborate with international EY teams on diverse assignments.

A strong academic foundation is preferred, ideally with a professional qualification in finance, MBA, accounting, CFA, or FRM, complemented by a solid grasp of corporate finance. Experience within infrastructure sectors such as power & utilities, Oil and Gas, transportation, or social infrastructure is essential. You should possess robust quantitative skills enabling the understanding of financial statements and the construction of three-statement financial models in Excel. Familiarity with VBA is advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in building dynamic dashboards or automated corporate strategy solutions using tools like Databricks, Python, or Agentic AI is highly desirable. Knowledge of PPP/PFI modeling is preferred. Exceptional economic and financial modeling skills, coupled with a strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative studies, are critical. Proficiency in Alteryx and visualization tools would be a plus.

Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report writing capabilities are a must, alongside a keen understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers. You should exhibit thoughtfulness, strong project and time management skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in coaching and mentoring team members on technical and soft skills is also valued.
