We are seeking skilled Associates and Assistant Managers specializing in Financial Modelling and Analytics to enhance our IA team, with a specific focus on the Power, Oil, and Gas sectors. Your role will involve supporting clients in making critical capital investment decisions, optimizing transactions, and guiding strategic initiatives.

As part of the Modelling and Analytics team, you will apply sophisticated financial and data analytics techniques to address complex business challenges and empower clients with informed decision-making in a dynamic market.

Lead and support engagement teams in delivering robust Financial Modelling, Analytics, and Strategic Advisory services to empower client decision-making across investments, transactions, financing, operations, and long-term growth.

Develop, refine, and enhance complex financial models, with a focus on Power, Oil & Gas, transportation, and broader infrastructure sectors.

Provide expert advice on transaction support, including M&A, project financing, debt and corporate restructuring, valuations, and strategic planning.

Assist in the development and assessment of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements, project structuring, commercial evaluations, and procurement strategies.

Conduct financial feasibility studies, business case development, economic impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to gauge project viability and support investment decisions.

Leverage advanced data analytics, automation, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, Python, VBA, Excel) to translate complex data into actionable insights and decision-support frameworks.

Perform independent reviews and validation of financial models, identify key risks and assumptions, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, and present findings clearly to clients.

Drive research and development initiatives, including market intelligence, industry benchmarking, policy/regulatory analysis, and emerging technology assessments, to build innovative analytical tools and methodologies.

Contribute to thought leadership through research publications, sector insights, white papers, and the development of reusable frameworks to enhance global Infrastructure Advisory capabilities.

Collaborate with global EY Infrastructure Advisory teams on project finance, infrastructure transactions, corporate finance, sustainability, and strategic advisory assignments.

A strong academic foundation is preferred, ideally complemented by a professional qualification in finance, MBA, accounting, CFA, or FRM, coupled with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.

Demonstrated experience within one or more infrastructure sectors such as power & utilities, Oil and Gas (including renewables), transport, or social infrastructure.

Exceptional quantitative skills are essential, enabling comprehension of financial statements and the ability to construct three-statement financial models in Excel. Exposure to VBA is advantageous.

Proven experience in building dynamic dashboards or automated corporate strategy solutions using tools like Databricks, Python, or Agentic AI.

Familiarity with PPP/PFI modelling is preferred.

Possess outstanding economic and financial modelling skills, with a clear aptitude for both quantitative and qualitative studies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report writing abilities are required, along with a keen understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.

Exhibit thoughtful problem-solving capabilities and strong project and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to effectively coach and mentor team members on writing, technical skills, and soft skills.
