Our TSE team provides comprehensive, operationally focused support throughout the transaction lifecycle for both buyers and sellers. We address critical areas such as divestiture advisory, carve-out readiness, operational due diligence, synergy assessment, day-one readiness, 100-day planning, integration support, and cost assessment. Professionals in this team operate globally, engaging in transactions and business development activities worldwide.

As an Associate Manager, you will lead project execution with excellence, focusing on synergy assessment, effective project management, and problem-solving. You will foster strong relationships with EY global offices, ensuring high client satisfaction with our engagement processes and deliverables. A key part of your role involves supporting business development through presentation preparation and client pursuit meetings.

You will also drive the execution of carve-out and integration plans, continuously seeking opportunities for enhancement and resolving integration challenges. Creating robust work products that document engagement procedures and objectives is essential. You'll manage client engagement teams executing TSE services, empowering key decision-makers in developing and implementing transaction strategies for maximum deal value.

Provide project guidance and mentor junior TSE professionals, leading by example. Conduct timely performance reviews and develop team members through effective feedback and training. Proactively identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Senior Managers with proposals and new business initiatives.

We are seeking Associate Managers with demonstrated expertise in the M&A lifecycle, post-announcement business carve-out and integration, and cross-border M&A. A strong preference is given to candidates with experience in the Energy (Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities) or Manufacturing (Industrials, Automotive, Industrial Products) sectors.

Candidates should possess financial analysis experience from pre- and post-deal transactions, with the ability to connect detailed operational analysis to P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet impacts. In-depth sector and company knowledge, along with the ability to identify risks and opportunities, are crucial. You must be adept at synthesizing approaches to complex carve-out and integration challenges and readily adapt to new ideas and opportunities.

To qualify, you must hold a Post Graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, or a related field from a premier institute, coupled with 7-9 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required, along with a willingness to travel internationally as business needs dictate. Strong problem-solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
