As an Associate Manager in our EYP GDS M&A team, you will provide strategic advice to clients on growth through acquisitions, market entry, divestitures, and capital raising. You'll engage with a diverse client base, including mid-sized corporations, international investors, Private Equity firms, and family offices, spanning various industries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading firm and drive the growth of a dynamic team.

Your responsibilities will include leading client interactions and fostering relationships with Global EYP Sector leaders. You will manage the end-to-end M&A deal lifecycle, from origination to closure. This involves transaction screening, proposal development, creating pitch books and industry research, performing valuations, and preparing Information Memorandums. You will also be responsible for building and leading a team of 2-3 individuals, mentoring them, and identifying their learning and development needs. Enhancing client service quality through collaboration and driving service delivery excellence will be key. You will focus the team on priorities, manage multiple projects, and ensure quality service delivery aligned with client needs.

To excel in this role, you need strong experience in Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance. Proven expertise in preparing pitch books, conducting industry and company research, and developing opportunity papers and Information Memorandums is essential. You should be proficient in financial modeling, possess a solid understanding of valuation principles, and have strong financial statement analysis skills. Excellent research and analytical capabilities, coupled with effective written and verbal communication, are required. Familiarity with research databases such as Capital IQ and OneSource is beneficial. The ability to manage time effectively, communicate progress against plans, and proactively contribute to knowledge sharing and team spirit is also important.
