The EYP M&A team offers clients strategic and tactical guidance for growth through acquisitions, synergy realization, market expansion, business divestitures, and capital raising. Support spans the entire deal lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification and client material preparation to target identification, valuation, and transaction closure. As an Assistant Manager in the EYP GDS M&A Team, you will deliver M&A Advisory services to Global EYP leaders, managing client interactions and fostering strong relationships. You'll oversee the M&A deal lifecycle, from origination to closing, encompassing transaction screening, proposal development, pitch book creation, industry research, valuation analysis, and Information Memorandum preparation. Key duties include developing financial M&A models, leading and mentoring a team of 1-2 individuals, managing their learning and development, and ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with client needs. You will also collaborate with project leaders on resource allocation and gap analysis, potentially undertaking international travel for assignments.

We seek an Assistant Manager with Investment Banking expertise for our EYP GDS M&A Team, a significant role in a growing department within a leading firm. Essential qualifications include a strong background in Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance, coupled with robust M&A research capabilities. Proficiency in creating pitch books, industry and company research, opportunity papers, Information Memorandums, and financial models is required. A solid understanding of valuation principles and financial statement analysis, alongside strong financial research and analytical skills, is crucial. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary, as is familiarity with research databases like Capital IQ and OneSource. The ability to efficiently source information, manage time effectively against budgets, and proactively contribute to knowledge sharing and team spirit are highly valued.
