Our Transaction Strategy and Execution (TSE) Technology team within EY-Parthenon specializes in guiding clients through the IT aspects of M&A transactions, including diligence, deal technology assessment, cybersecurity, and software strategy. This role within EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Transaction Strategy and Execution (TSE) Technology team in India offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex engagements and contribute to client success in the M&A landscape. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality technology advisory services across various transaction phases.

Lead and manage mid-to-large scale engagements, driving solutions for pressing client issues throughout the transaction lifecycle. Oversee projects spanning multiple technology domains such as Applications, Data, Cyber, Infrastructure, Cutover, and IT Operating Models in both deal and non-deal scenarios, ensuring successful delivery and quality.

Cultivate strong relationships with regional TSE partners and EY offices globally, ensuring high client satisfaction with engagement processes and deliverables. Actively participate in larger SaT projects, identifying and pitching technology interventions based on evolving market trends and building innovative service offerings. Develop compelling Point of View documents and support business development initiatives.

Provide strategic insights grounded in technology, industry, and functional best practices. Leverage expertise in transaction advisory, synergy assessments, and deal implementation to contribute to project success. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional value to our clients.

A postgraduate degree in business management from a premier institution is required, coupled with 5-8 years of relevant consulting experience. Candidates should possess at least 4 years of experience in Transaction Strategy, Technology Strategy, or Technology Transformation within a top-tier consulting firm.

Essential experience includes navigating the technology facets of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Carveouts throughout the transaction lifecycle. Proven working experience in Due Diligence, specifically IT Due Diligence, Cyber Diligence, and Technology Diligence, is critical. Familiarity with the post-deal transaction lifecycle for Sell & Separate and Buy & Integrate transactions is also necessary, encompassing separation/integration planning, standalone models, application/infrastructure/data separation, cutover management, TSA costing, Day-1 planning, and logical separation.

Expertise in Technology Strategy areas such as cost optimization, business management, IT budget forecasting, IT chargeback, cloud economics, cloud financial management, IT value realization, and IT organization sizing is expected. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate experience in Business Development activities, including RFP responses and opportunity pursuits, with a proven ability to win mid-to-large sized deals.
