EYP-Cyber DD-Manager

EY
Advance your career with EY by joining our Strategy & Execution service line as a Manager. This role integrates deep IT infrastructure and cybersecurity knowledge with strategic advisory and transaction experience. You will guide C-suite executives and investors through critical decisions in IT and cyber due diligence, post-merger integration, separations, and technology strategy. You'll lead diverse teams to transform complex technology challenges into actionable, value-driven plans, bridging the gap between technology and strategic business outcomes.
As a Manager in Transaction Strategy and Execution (TSE), you will support global EY teams in driving transformation, transaction, and cybersecurity projects. You'll lead client engagements, mentor junior staff, and develop new services to foster team growth. Your responsibilities include conducting pre-deal due diligence (e.g., Cyber DD, carve-out planning) and post-deal activities (e.g., integration planning), managing buy-side and sell-side due diligence, and developing integration/separation strategies for key areas like IAM, Endpoints, and SOC. You will identify technology and cyber risks, quantify hidden costs and value opportunities, and develop executive-level reports translating technical findings into business implications. This includes leading integration and separation workstreams, defining target operating models, and supporting technology, AI, and cybersecurity strategy engagements with pragmatic roadmaps and investment cases.
To excel in this role, you should possess 8-12 years of experience in technology consulting, IT advisory, or cybersecurity. A Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline is required, along with a full-time MBA or PGDM from a top-tier Indian institution. Significant experience in cyber or technology due diligence, post-merger integration, carve-outs, or technology transformation is essential. You must have a strong grasp of IT infrastructure, cloud, networks, applications, IT operating models, and cybersecurity principles. Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders is crucial. An understanding of the M&A lifecycle and the ability to quantify risks and value opportunities are key attributes. Willingness to travel internationally as required is also a necessity.
