The Transaction Strategy and Execution (TSE) Technology team within EY-Parthenon GDS is seeking a Manager to guide clients through the intricate IT aspects of M&A transactions. This role involves IT diligence, assessing technology ecosystems, evaluating cyber risks, and developing software strategies to enhance deal value and manage transaction risks from inception to execution.

Lead and manage engagements focusing on critical client issues throughout the transaction lifecycle, supporting key decision-makers in developing and executing transaction strategies. Spearhead projects across various technology functions including applications, data, cyber, infrastructure, cutover, and IT operating models in both deal and non-deal scenarios. Ensure engagement success, quality delivery, and foster strong relationships with EY offices globally. Drive business development by identifying potential technology interventions, developing thought leadership, and supporting opportunity pursuits. Provide expert insights based on technology, industry, and functional knowledge. Mentor and manage consultants and analysts, fostering their expertise in technology and transaction strategy while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

A postgraduate degree in business management from a top-tier institute is required, complemented by 8-12 years of relevant consulting experience. Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in Transaction Strategy, Technology Strategy, or Technology Transformation, ideally within a leading consulting firm. Demonstrated experience in the technology facets of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Carve-outs is essential, alongside hands-on expertise in managing complex technology transformation projects. Significant experience in IT Due Diligence, Cyber Diligence, and Technology Diligence is crucial. Proficiency in the post-deal transaction lifecycle, including separation/integration planning, stand-alone models, TSA costing, and Day-1 planning, is expected. Expertise in technology strategy areas like cost optimization, business management, budget forecasting, and cloud financial management is required. Experience in business development activities, including RFP responses and deal pursuits, is also necessary.
