This role is crucial for scaling AI engineering capabilities within application security and offensive security domains. Key responsibilities include defining and evolving enterprise-level AI reference architectures, frameworks, and engineering standards. You will approve and guide critical architecture decisions across multiple programs and client engagements, leading executive-level client discussions and strategic solutioning. Shape and drive AI engineering capability development in application security and VAPT domains, championing emerging AI technologies like LLM patterns and multi-agent systems. Drive innovation through POCs, labs, and reusable assets, establishing governance models for AI engineering and responsible AI practices. Guide teams on advanced AI implementation, fine-tuning, and optimization, while leading and mentoring architects and engineers. Contribute to go-to-market initiatives and thought leadership, representing EY in client and external forums.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or a related field, coupled with 12+ years of experience in AI engineering, architecture, or advanced technology consulting. Proven experience in leading complex AI transformation and architecture initiatives, with a strong track record of driving innovation and technology adoption, is essential. Preferred cyber experience includes enterprise-scale secure AI architecture strategy and DevSecOps integration, or AI-driven threat modeling and adversarial evaluation strategies. Technical expertise in Python, AI/LLM tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot), AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen), AI architecture patterns (RAG, agentic systems), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, Hugging Face), and vector databases is required. Strong technology leadership, executive communication, and an innovation mindset are also key attributes.
