This client-facing position within a rapidly expanding practice offers significant opportunities for growth. You will engage directly with senior stakeholders on complex risk, process, and controls projects. A key aspect of this role involves contributing to the development and implementation of innovative, technology-driven solutions, utilizing proprietary tools and emerging technologies like Cloud Applications and AI.

Lead and manage diverse risk consulting engagements, including Internal Audit, Internal Controls, SOX 404, and business process reviews, within the Technology sector. This encompasses areas such as cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, software engineering, data and AI, IT operations, technology risk, digital transformation, and governance across various technology environments.

Guide engagement teams to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet EY’s global standards, timelines, and budgets. Identify process inefficiencies, assess associated risks, and formulate improvement recommendations grounded in industry best practices and client-specific contexts.

Employ a structured, solution-oriented problem-solving methodology throughout engagement execution. Prepare comprehensive audit reports, working papers, and client communications. Proactively monitor engagement progress, manage risks, and ensure timely, clear communication of status and expected results to both clients and internal stakeholders. Escalate potential issues promptly according to firm protocols.

Cultivate strong relationships with senior client executives and EY member firm teams globally. Actively participate in business development by contributing to proposals, RFP responses, and thought leadership for the Technology sector, drawing upon deep industry knowledge. Support application modernization and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging cloud platforms and GenAI solutions to enhance service delivery.

Stay abreast of sector trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks, translating these insights into practical recommendations. Play a role in shaping strategy for EY GDS’s expansion in the Technology sector and enhancing global account integration. Foster business growth and guide strategic decisions through collaboration with colleagues across various service lines, sharing expertise and experience.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting or industry roles, with a focus on process and controls, internal audits, and business process evaluation. Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful client engagements and tailored solutions for the Technology sector is essential.

Experience should encompass areas such as cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, software engineering, data and AI solutions, IT operations, technology risk, digital transformation, and governance within modern and legacy technology environments. Prior experience in technology transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise application modernization engagements is highly valued.

Possess a solid understanding of application architectures, IT controls, cybersecurity principles, and technology risk management frameworks. A proven capability to deliver sector-focused solutions for global clients is required.

Strong leadership skills are necessary, including experience in guiding and motivating high-performing teams. The ability to think innovatively and approach challenges from different perspectives is crucial for success in this role.
