Lead and manage diverse risk consulting engagements including Internal Audit, Internal Controls, SOX 404, and business process reviews. Oversee engagement teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet EY’s global standards, timelines, and budgets. Identify process gaps, assess risks, and propose strategic improvement recommendations grounded in industry best practices and client-specific contexts. Apply a structured problem-solving approach to prepare comprehensive audit reports, working papers, and client communications.

Monitor engagement progress diligently, manage inherent risks, and maintain transparent communication regarding status and expected outcomes with key stakeholders. Proactively identify and escalate engagement-related risks in accordance with firm protocols. Build robust relationships with senior client stakeholders and EY member firm teams worldwide, contributing to business development through proposals and thought leadership. Drive operational excellence and engagement productivity improvements while managing budgets and ensuring adherence to quality and risk management procedures.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, or Process & Controls within a consulting firm or large corporate setting. You must possess hands-on experience leading internal audit engagements from planning through closure across various processes and functions, coupled with strong expertise in internal controls, business process reviews, and risk assessments. The ability to manage and review audit team work, ensuring quality and adherence to professional standards, is crucial.

Effective interaction with senior management and stakeholders, articulating risks and providing practical recommendations, is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for evaluating complex processes and identifying improvement opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing audit reports and executive presentations, are a must. Experience managing multiple simultaneous engagements, including budgets and resource allocation, alongside working knowledge of data analytics and technology-enabled audit techniques, including advanced Excel and analytics tools, is required. A professional qualification such as CA, MBA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent, or progress towards one, is preferred, as is exposure to global or multi-location audit environments.
