This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Fabric Data Engineer to leverage their expertise in Microsoft Fabric data services. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with engineers and architects to develop prototypes and proofs of concept, guiding the design and operation of complex data environments within Microsoft Fabric. You will translate stakeholder requirements into effective data engineering solutions utilizing Fabric components.

Your role will also involve leading training sessions on enterprise data quality standards, governance, and best practices within Microsoft Fabric. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using tools like Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, SQL, and PySpark. Managing metadata across the Fabric ecosystem and participating in all phases of the data solution lifecycle, from design to support, are integral to this position.

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in delivering large-scale data engineering projects, particularly using Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and PySpark. Strong proficiency in SQL, Data Factory, and PySpark for data processing and transformation is essential.

Demonstrated experience in metadata-driven data integration framework development and at least one full lifecycle project implementation in Microsoft Fabric are required. You should possess a strong ability to solve complex problems at scale, alongside experience in system integration via ETL or APIs and designing job workflows. A degree in computer science or a related field, coupled with 3-7 years of practical experience, including at least 3 years specifically as a developer/designer with PySpark, ADF, and Azure environments, is necessary. A flexible, self-motivated approach with excellent communication skills and a willingness to work globally are also key.
