Join EY's GDS Consulting team as a Senior Azure Data Engineer with Databricks expertise. Develop and deploy scalable big data pipelines utilizing Azure Cloud services. Design, develop, and migrate ETL processes from on-premises systems to cloud-based solutions. Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business objectives and contribute to workstream delivery. Optimize model code for enhanced execution speed and efficiency.

Participate actively in all phases of the Big Data solution delivery lifecycle, encompassing analysis, design, development, testing, production deployment, and ongoing support.

A computer science graduate or equivalent with 4-8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and its latest version. Proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL Server is essential. Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake/Blob Storage is required.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of Batch Account configuration and control options. You should be capable of independently engaging with business stakeholders to grasp requirements and translate them into ADF solutions. Experience in an Agile delivery methodology is preferred.
