Join EY's GDS Consulting team as a Senior Techno-Functional Data Consultant specializing in the insurance sector. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document functional and data requirements. Perform detailed source-to-target data analysis and mapping, identifying data quality issues and transformation needs. Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, creating ERDs and data dictionaries. Support data governance initiatives and ensure alignment between business processes and target data architecture. Work closely with ETL, Data Engineering, and Development teams to ensure accurate implementation of data solutions.

Key responsibilities include conducting impact assessments for regulatory changes, facilitating workshops, and acting as a liaison between business and technical teams. You will also define and validate data migration and reconciliation rules, ensuring robust data management practices are in place.

We are seeking a Senior Techno-Functional Data Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Consulting, or Data Migration. Essential skills include demonstrable experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, proficiency with data modeling tools, and a strong understanding of relational databases and data architecture principles.

Proficiency in SQL is mandatory, along with hands-on experience in data profiling, data quality assessment, and data mapping. A solid understanding of insurance business processes and data domains such as policy, customer, claims, or underwriting is required. Experience with reporting and analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense is also necessary, alongside a foundational understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
