Join EY's GDS Data and Analytics team as a seasoned Azure Data Engineer, where you'll leverage your expertise in Databricks PySpark to craft innovative data management strategies. You will be instrumental in solving intricate business challenges for clients across various industries, including Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, and Finance. This role offers a dynamic environment to drive value through data and technology.

As a key member of the Metadata Management team, you will lead prototype development, conduct proofs of concept, and provide expert recommendations. You'll collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective designs and ensure their successful implementation. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions on enterprise data quality standards, guidelines, and processes for both business and technology partners.

This role requires a proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale data warehousing projects, ideally with Azure Synapse or Databricks. Essential skills include strong SQL and Python (PySpark) proficiency, coupled with the ability to manage metadata extraction and data integration across diverse resources. You should possess 3-7 years of relevant experience, with at least 1-3 years specifically focused on Databricks PySpark and Azure Synapse. A degree in computer science or a related field is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills, experience with ETL/APIs, and strong communication abilities are vital. A flexible, self-motivated approach and a willingness to engage in all project lifecycle stages, including global collaboration, are expected.
