EY GDS is seeking a Manager, Azure Data Architect within our Data and Analytics (D&A) team. We empower clients to overcome complex business hurdles using data and technology, extracting maximum value and identifying opportunities across sectors like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Supply Chain, and Finance.

This role offers a significant opportunity to join a premier firm and contribute to a rapidly expanding Data and Analytics division.

Key responsibilities include developing standardized practices for delivering new Big Data and cloud solutions, encompassing data acquisition, transformation, analysis, modeling, governance, and management. You will leverage experience in Government Infrastructure Sector Projects and possess expertise in Presales, RFP responses, and Go-to-Market strategies.

Engage with senior technology leaders to understand business objectives, propose solutions, estimate efforts, design architectures, and deliver technology solutions. Define and implement client-specific best practices for data management within cloud environments. Recommend design alternatives for data ingestion, processing, and provisioning layers.

Develop data ingestion programs for large batch datasets using ADB, ADF, PySpark, Python, and Synapse, alongside real-time data ingestion from LIVE sources using Apache Kafka and Spark Streaming. You should have managed teams and possess end-to-end delivery experience, including building technical capabilities and teams.

To qualify, you must design and propose Azure-based data and AI solutions aligned with client objectives and business challenges. Develop and present demonstrations, prototypes, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to showcase solution value. Create technical proposals, presentations, and respond to RFPs/RFIs.

Lead project delivery from a technical standpoint, ensuring implementations match the initial design. Define and implement best practices and agile methodologies for scalable cloud solutions. Provide expert guidance on data strategy, cloud architecture, and technology stacks for data modernization, AI, and machine learning workloads.

Proficiency required in Data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB. Knowledge of AI/ML services including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI is essential. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in these areas and a minimum of 10 years of industry experience are required.
