This role is within the National Tax team in Chennai, focusing on Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) and Advanced Corporate Reporting (ACR). The National team offers diverse industry experience, while the GCR-ACR team provides specialized tax services globally. We assist clients in navigating complex tax landscapes, leveraging technology and expertise to drive better business decisions and sustainable value.

Key responsibilities include performing accounting activities across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger. You will support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepare and review data for TDS returns and GST filings, alongside preparing MIS reports and financial schedules. You will also coordinate audit requirements and resolve accounting exceptions.

Manage day-to-day client interactions, clarifying requirements, providing status updates, and resolving queries. Leverage AI and digital tools to enhance productivity and process efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

We are seeking professionals with strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on finance process experience. Essential technical requirements include a solid understanding of accounting principles, working exposure to AP, AR, Fixed Assets, GL, and audit support. Proficiency in TDS and GST compliance, including return preparation, is crucial.

Experience with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills, is necessary. The role demands the ability to manage client interactions, resolve issues promptly, and consistently deliver accurate outcomes within deadlines.
