Lead multiple engineering PODs to deliver high-impact platform capabilities across Rental and Digital ecosystems. This role blends strategic leadership with execution oversight, ensuring alignment with long-term architectural goals and near-term delivery commitments. Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Operations leaders to enhance systems supporting rental workflows, customer journeys, and mobile experiences.

Guide teams through critical decisions like modernizing legacy systems, adopting microservices and event-driven patterns, and optimizing performance at scale. Mentor engineering leaders, review architectural decisions, resolve cross-team dependencies, and ensure consistent adoption of best practices in cloud, CI/CD, observability, and security. Engage with executive stakeholders to provide delivery visibility, manage risks, and drive investment priorities, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Define and communicate a long-term technology vision and platform strategy that supports business growth, operational scalability, and customer experience. Oversee various engineering domains including backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps, ensuring synergy across platforms. Drive large-scale transformations, focusing on legacy system modernization, microservices and API adoption, and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka). Lead organizational design, hiring, and development of senior management, architects, and tech leads. Establish robust governance frameworks for architecture standards, security, compliance, and engineering quality. Partner with Product and business stakeholders to develop roadmaps for rental workflows, pricing, customer journeys, and mobile platforms. Own key engineering KPIs such as delivery velocity, system reliability, performance SLAs, and cost efficiency. Manage budgets, capacity planning, vendor relationships, and resource allocation. Cultivate a culture of innovation, experimentation, and engineering excellence. Represent engineering leadership in executive forums, customer discussions, and partner engagements.

A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. Possess 15+ years of combined technical and management experience in software development and leading engineering organizations. Demonstrate deep curiosity across the technology stack with broad experience in backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps practices. Proven success in setting strategy, driving execution, and delivering complex, large-scale programs. Exhibit exceptional people leadership, coaching, and change management skills to inspire high-performing teams. Possess expert communication abilities, enabling credible interactions at all business levels and with external partners. Strong financial acumen, including hands-on experience with budgeting, resource planning, and P&L management.
