We partner with business leaders, offering strategic talent advice and leveraging best practices. Our teams are instrumental in enabling the business, driving employee engagement, and bringing our strategy to life. The scope includes workstreams like Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Mobility, Compensation and Benefits, alongside HR Systems, Operations, and People Data Analytics.
Your key responsibilities will involve maintaining statutory registers, records, and documentation as per applicable laws. You will coordinate timely filing of statutory returns and monthly compliance submissions, ensuring adherence to Provident Fund, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labour Welfare Fund obligations.
Proactively track labour law amendments and support the implementation of regulatory changes, including readiness for new Labour Codes. Assist during labour inspections, statutory audits, and compliance reviews, maintaining a compliance calendar and monitoring adherence to timelines.
Support the timely closure of compliance observations, notices, and audit findings. Ensure comprehensive compliance with Central and State labour laws, including various Codes and specific acts like the Payment of Gratuity Act and Payment of Bonus Act. Coordinate with Payroll teams for accurate statutory deductions and remittances, and validate calculations for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Bonus, and Labour Welfare Fund.
Assist with employee lifecycle compliance, including onboarding, transfers, and separations. Prepare compliance MIS, management reports, and audit documentation. Partner with HR stakeholders to strengthen compliance governance and controls. Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams to automate compliance reporting and dashboard generation.
To excel in this role, a Graduate or Diploma holder in Labour Law, or an MBA in HR, is required. We seek individuals with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience specifically in statutory and labour compliance.
We are looking for proactive individuals capable of collaborative work, delivering services across multiple departments while adhering to commercial and legal mandates. A practical, problem-solving approach is essential, coupled with the ability to deliver insightful and actionable solutions.
