Join our dynamic Tax team in Mumbai as an Executive, focusing on GST & Pre GST Advisory. As an Executive, you will immerse yourself in tax technology, Deloitte's internal systems, and standard operational processes. Your responsibilities will include understanding and responding to team tasks, identifying and communicating missing information, and ensuring client service team expectations are clearly understood and conveyed.

You will also be involved in understanding project requirements, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regular software application testing, and coordinating with developers for query resolutions. Identifying and reporting system bugs, errors, and defects to seniors, and tracking them to resolution are key aspects of this role. Furthermore, you'll maintain robust documentation, conduct Proof of Concept (POC) on technology tools, and assist with internal risk formalities and proposal preparation. Contributing to process improvement and maintaining real-time time cost trackers are also vital contributions.

We are seeking an Executive with 4-6 years of experience in Indirect Taxation. A Bachelor's degree or semi-qualified CA status is required.

Essential skills for this role include being a proactive team player with effective communication and presentation abilities. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate persistence and persuasiveness in their approach. Familiarity with tax technology tools, Deloitte systems, and standard processes is expected.
