We are seeking a professional to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines. You will leverage AWS services and SAS/SQL for data transformation, analysis, and reporting, ensuring high-quality data solutions. This position offers the chance to work on end-to-end data projects and mentor others in best practices.
Develop and manage data pipelines utilizing AWS services such as Glue, Athena, S3, and QuickSight. Perform data analysis, transformation, and reporting using SAS/SQL programs, with a focus on migrating SAS programs to AWS reporting tools. Ensure data quality through cleaning, validation, and transformation processes. Create, maintain, and optimize SAS datasets, reports, and macros for efficiency.
Lead or support data-related projects from inception to completion, providing training and mentorship on SAS and AWS tools. Troubleshoot and debug SAS programs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams for data integration, governance, and timely delivery. Document existing programs according to organizational standards and stay updated on the latest AWS/SAS advancements.
A strong understanding of SAS/SQL for data analysis, transformation, and reporting is essential. Experience in migrating SAS programs to AWS reporting tools like Athena, Glue, and QuickSight is required. Proficiency in designing and optimizing SAS codes for performance, along with troubleshooting capabilities, is expected.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional and local technology teams for data integration and governance. A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset is crucial, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. A Master’s degree or higher in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, is desired. Knowledge of banking and trading book products, and exposure to regulatory reporting, are advantageous.
