Join our Forensic and Financial Crime team as an Assistant Manager, contributing to a dynamic global network. You'll provide critical advisory and support services for forensic engagements, working alongside Deloitte member firms worldwide. This role offers significant experience in eDiscovery and forensic technology, fostering professional growth in an exciting environment.

We specialize in eDiscovery, cyber forensics, and application development. Our services cover the entire EDRM lifecycle, from data processing and analysis to review support and production using platforms like Nuix, Relativity, and Brainspace. We also conduct forensic investigations, analyzing cyber evidence and digital data to detail cyber-crime activities. Our team enhances eDiscovery applications using Relativity, VBA, and Python scripting, providing essential technology support.

As an Assistant Manager, you will build strong client relationships and exceed expectations. Your responsibilities include supporting Deloitte member firms in eDiscovery and Forensic Technology, managing tight deadlines, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key duties involve adhering to documented processes for data processing and review, utilizing eDiscovery platforms, and extracting data from electronic documents. You'll validate data throughout processes, perform quality checks, and design review workflows, including first-level, second-level, privilege, and QC reviews.

Further responsibilities include assisting Project Managers with STRs, review setup, and productions. You will lead and manage review teams, monitor progress, and ensure quality metrics are met. Handling escalations related to responsiveness, privilege, and complex legal issues is also crucial. You will optimize review efficiency using TAR/CAL, analytics, and batching strategies, and leverage advanced AI tools.

Additionally, you will plan and execute document productions according to client specifications and regulatory requirements, prepare client data deliverables, and draft project summaries and reports. Independent management of eDiscovery, review support, and investigation tasks is expected. You'll also assist with client proposals and administrative tasks related to project management, contributing to marketing strategy creation and execution. Note that extensive travel is not required, and hybrid work is our standard approach, customized by each domain.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Graduate or Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university, with over 3 years of experience in eDiscovery being preferred. A strong track record and excellent academic achievements are essential.

Key competencies include proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills for complex business issues. You must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with substantial client-facing experience. Proficiency in Data Processing technologies like Relativity and Nuix is required.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement review protocols, coupled with experience in large-scale document review management, is vital. A strong understanding of document production processes and the ability to perform pre- and post-production QC checks are necessary. Relevant certifications such as Relativity Certified would be a significant advantage.

Essential technical skills include a strong working knowledge of basic PC functions and Windows environments, particularly MS Excel and Office. Familiarity with General Database, Networking, and Systems concepts is important. Basic experience with SQL, SQL+, Visual Basic/VBSCRIPT, SAS, MS-Access, C++, Windows, UNIX, and Linux is beneficial. Basic knowledge of Forensic Procedures and tools like Encase and FTK is also expected.
