This role within the National Assurance team, specifically in FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services), focuses on providing critical financial reporting and accounting expertise across diverse industries. The team inspires confidence and trust, serving the public interest by ensuring robust financial practices and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.

Manage and execute FAAS projects, developing and implementing tailored solutions for clients.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, effectively managing client accounts.

Clearly articulate complex accounting and financial reporting issues in an understandable manner.

Demonstrate an advisory mindset, crafting effective client solutions with support from subject matter experts.

Gain specific financial reporting experience in areas such as transactions (acquisitions, IPOs), complex consolidations, tax planning, technical training delivery, revenue recognition, and financial instruments.

Travel will be a component of this role to engage with key clients.

A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (e.g., CPA, ICAEW, ACCA).

A strong academic record, ideally with first or second-time passes in professional examinations.

Possess robust experience in IGAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP financial reporting, preferably within complex/large companies, audit, advisory, transaction, or MNC finance/M&A environments.

Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Exhibit the ability to simplify and explain complex accounting and financial reporting matters.

Demonstrate an advisory approach and the capacity to develop client solutions.

Possess business development acumen, with a proven track record expected for senior roles.

Experience in at least one specialized financial reporting area (e.g., transactions, IPOs, consolidations, tax planning, technical training, revenue recognition, financial instruments) is essential.

Strong project management and excellent communication skills are required.
