Manage and execute Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) projects, developing and implementing innovative solutions. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, managing client accounts as appropriate. Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting technical excellence and continuous learning. Collaborate with other EY service lines on integrated, multi-disciplinary projects. Contribute to thought leadership and actively participate in marketing initiatives. Regular client engagement will be a key part of the role, requiring travel to meet with prominent industry figures.

A Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., CPA, ICAEW, ACCA) is required, with a strong academic record including first or second-time passes. Significant experience in IGAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP financial reporting within complex or large organizations is essential, preferably from audit, advisory, transaction verticals, or MNC finance/M&A environments. Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The ability to articulate complex accounting and financial reporting issues clearly and concisely is vital. An advisory mindset, coupled with the capacity to develop client solutions with expert support, is expected. Business development acumen is also a key attribute, especially for senior roles. Specific experience in transactions, IPO preparation, complex MNC consolidations, tax planning, technical training delivery, or specialized financial reporting topics like revenue recognition or financial instruments is highly desirable. Excellent communication abilities are a must.
