Join Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team as an Events Security Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in safeguarding Google's operations and growth globally. Orchestrate and lead comprehensive security operations for significant internal and public Google events. Conduct thorough risk assessments to pinpoint potential threats and vulnerabilities, considering event specifics, location, attendees, and historical data.

Develop detailed security plans encompassing access control, crowd management, and emergency response protocols. Implement effective training programs to equip staff with event-specific security knowledge and emergency procedures.

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors, law enforcement agencies, and industry peers. Manage complex security budgets for events and vendor teams, identifying and mitigating risks through GSRS assessments and current intelligence.

Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and lessons learned. This role requires flexible scheduling, including extended days and weekends, with potential for domestic and international travel.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside a minimum of 5 years of experience managing security operations. Proven experience working effectively with vendors is essential.

Preferred qualifications include experience managing security for medium to large-scale internal and public events. Candidates should possess experience in conducting investigations covering criminal, human resources, and safety incidents.

Familiarity with security technologies like CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems is beneficial. Experience liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services is highly valued. Strong abilities in managing confidential information with discretion and diplomacy are crucial.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting, are necessary for success in this role.
