Lead complex security operations for large-scale internal and public Google events, ensuring seamless execution and attendee safety. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities specific to each event's context.

Develop comprehensive security plans, including access control, crowd management strategies, and detailed emergency response procedures. Create and deliver effective training programs to ensure all personnel are proficient in event-specific security protocols and emergency response.

Cultivate and manage strong, long-term relationships with vendors, law enforcement agencies, and private sector security partners. This role demands flexible scheduling, including extended hours and weekends, along with potential domestic and international travel.

Oversee intricate long-term security budgets for events and supporting vendor teams. Proactively identify and manage event security risks by leveraging GSRS assessments and current intelligence, culminating in detailed reports on incidents and lessons learned.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is essential, complemented by at least five years of hands-on experience managing security operations. Proven experience working effectively with external vendors is also required.

Preferred qualifications include experience managing security for medium to large-scale internal and public events, alongside a strong background in conducting investigations for criminal, HR, and safety incidents. Familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems is highly advantageous.

Experience collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services is beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and diplomacy, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The capacity to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
