Join our Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team, safeguarding Google's global operations and growth. We focus on anticipating, deterring, detecting, and acting to ensure safety, security, and resilience across all aspects of Google's business. This role is crucial in developing proactive strategies and programs that enhance operational effectiveness and manage enterprise risks.

Your contributions will be vital in fostering a culture where safety and security are integral. You'll work collaboratively with diverse teams to create innovative solutions and provide critical insights for informed decision-making by business leaders.

Orchestrate and oversee significant security operations for both internal and public Google events. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to pinpoint potential threats and vulnerabilities, considering event specifics, location, attendees, and historical data.

Develop detailed security plans encompassing access control, crowd management, and emergency protocols. Implement robust training programs to ensure personnel are proficient in event-specific security measures and emergency responses.

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors, law enforcement agencies, and industry peers. Manage substantial event security budgets and vendor support teams. Identify and mitigate event security risks by leveraging GSRS assessments and current intelligence. Generate thorough reports detailing security incidents, observations, and lessons learned.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, alongside a minimum of five years managing security operations. Demonstrated experience working effectively with vendors is essential.

Preferred qualifications include prior experience managing security for medium to large-scale internal and public events. Experience conducting thorough investigations into criminal, human resources, and safety incidents is highly valued. Familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems is beneficial.

We also seek candidates experienced in liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services. Exceptional skills in managing confidential and sensitive information, coupled with strong acumen, discretion, and diplomacy, are critical. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are necessary to effectively multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
