Join NTT DATA as an experienced ETL Tester / Data Quality Engineer in Bangalore, India. This role is integral to ensuring the integrity and quality of our data pipelines on modern cloud platforms.

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for ETL/ELT processes and data transformation logic. Validate source-to-target mappings, business rules, and data lineage, conducting thorough data reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, consistency, and duplication checks.

Test data ingestion pipelines using tools like Fivetran, and validate dbt data models, transformations, and associated tests. Perform extensive SQL-based data validation on Snowflake, including large datasets and complex transformations, while identifying and tracking defects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL/ELT testing, data warehouse testing, or data quality testing is required. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and strong experience with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse are essential.

Candidates should possess experience testing dbt data models and transformations, alongside familiarity with data ingestion tools such as Fivetran or similar. A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT principles is expected. Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira and knowledge of Agile methodologies are also necessary.
