Key responsibilities include designing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines. You will perform rigorous data validation, including source-to-target mapping, transformation logic verification, and data reconciliation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Your role will involve testing data ingestion tools like Fivetran, validating dbt data models, and conducting SQL-based data validation within Snowflake. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and stakeholders to identify, log, and resolve defects. Additionally, you'll contribute to the development of automated validation frameworks and support various testing phases, including UAT and production validation.

Ideal candidates will possess over 7 years of dedicated experience in ETL/ELT, data warehouse, or data quality testing. A strong command of SQL for complex data validation and reconciliation is essential, alongside hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt for data modeling and transformations.

Familiarity with data ingestion tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, or Matillion is expected. A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data validation for batch and incremental loads is crucial. Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies are also key requirements for this position.
