Seeking a seasoned ETL Test Engineer/Data Quality Engineer with over 7 years of experience in data transformation and integration solutions. This role demands expertise in validating end-to-end data pipelines, transformation logic, data quality, and reconciliation, particularly within modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.

The position focuses on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data throughout its journey. You will be instrumental in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies to uphold the highest data quality standards.

Key responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts for ETL/ELT processes. You will validate source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and data lineage, performing thorough data reconciliation and integrity checks. Testing data ingestion pipelines and validating dbt models, including incremental loads and snapshots, will be crucial.

This role also involves writing complex SQL queries for data validation in Snowflake, identifying and resolving data defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll contribute to automated test frameworks, validate error handling, and support various testing phases, including UAT and production validation. Monitoring data quality and providing root-cause analysis are also key aspects of this role.

A minimum of 7 years in ETL/ELT testing, data warehouse testing, or data quality testing is required. Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation is essential. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt data model testing, and data ingestion tools like Fivetran (or similar) is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas is expected. Experience with batch and incremental data loads, ETL/ELT concepts, and defect tracking tools like Jira is also necessary.
