This role involves critical responsibilities in ETL testing, focusing on both manual and automation testing methodologies. You will be expected to work extensively with SQL databases such as Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server, applying advanced concepts. A strong understanding of Data Warehousing principles is essential.

Key duties include utilizing Ab Initio for ETL processes, navigating Unix environments with proficiency in Shell Scripting or other scripting languages like Python. You will apply testing concepts, analytical skills, and domain knowledge to ensure data quality and integrity. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to automation initiatives and leverage AWS expertise.

We are seeking an experienced engineer with approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of SQL (Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server) and advanced Data Warehousing concepts.

Proficiency in ETL tools, specifically Ab Initio, is mandatory. Candidates must also be skilled in Unix commands, Shell Scripting or Python, and possess solid Testing Concepts, Analytical Skills, and Domain Knowledge. Experience with both manual and automation testing is required. While not mandatory, experience with Automation and AWS is considered a plus. Prior experience in the Cards domain or with Barclays is also desirable.
