As a Senior Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Ab Initio ETL to design, develop, and implement robust data solutions. You will be involved in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and efficiency of our data pipelines.

Key responsibilities include working with advanced SQL queries across Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server. You will apply comprehensive data warehousing concepts and utilize Unix commands and shell scripting, or alternative scripting languages like Python, to automate processes.

Your role will also encompass applying testing concepts, analytical skills, and domain knowledge to identify and resolve issues. While not mandatory, experience with automation and AWS expertise would be beneficial in enhancing our capabilities.

We are looking for a candidate with approximately 5 to 8 years of experience in ETL development and testing.

A strong foundation in SQL (Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server) at an advanced level is essential, alongside a solid understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts.

Proficiency in ETL tools, specifically Ab Initio, is a mandatory requirement. You must also be adept at using Unix Commands, Shell Scripting, or other scripting languages like Python, and possess a good grasp of Testing Concepts and Analytical Skills.

Prior experience in the Cards domain or working with Barclays would be considered a valuable asset. Demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills is also a key expectation for this role.
