This position focuses on designing and developing enterprise software solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments, primarily utilizing Microsoft technologies. You will lead complex projects, taking ownership of the design, development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of solutions and infrastructure. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring solutions align with business and technical requirements through advanced technical capabilities and adherence to established standards.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will engineer and automate platform solutions to meet and exceed product manager expectations. You will proactively advance DevSecOps methodologies, standards, and best practices. Applying modern development principles, global product guidelines, and security standards will be crucial.

You will ensure quality through manual and automated controls, and effectively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Utilizing critical thinking, you'll explore possibilities, evaluate options based on feasibility and impact, and propose actionable plans and roadmaps that balance immediate and long-term needs.

Key duties include designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and automating infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. You'll manage Azure resources, collaborate with development teams for streamlined deployments, implement Git strategies, and monitor application performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Ensuring security, compliance, and governance standards are met, troubleshooting deployment and performance issues, and supporting containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) are also core responsibilities. Maintaining technical documentation and promoting DevOps best practices across teams is essential.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Boards. Proven experience in CI/CD implementation and automation is required.

You will need proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and a solid understanding of Git and branching strategies. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep is essential, along with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this position.
