Join Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team as an Environment, Health and Safety Cluster Manager. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture where safety, security, and resilience are embedded in all aspects of Google's operations.

You will play a crucial part in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring enterprise risks, empowering business leaders with the insights needed for critical decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to developing innovative strategies and impactful programs that drive sustained effectiveness.

Develop and implement robust safety solutions tailored to risk assessments, ensuring maximum worker protection across R&D, lab, and office environments. Oversee the creation of essential procedures, program documentation, and digital tracking systems to facilitate the scalability of safety initiatives throughout the region.

Partner closely with security and facilities teams to seamlessly integrate safety protocols into daily operations. Conduct regular audits and comprehensive risk assessments, preparing high-level reports for leadership on site safety and health performance. Lead thorough incident investigations and response efforts, supporting all campus compliance with local, national, and state EHS regulations, as well as company standards.

A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field, coupled with equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 7 years of dedicated experience in environment, health, and safety (EHS) is essential for this position.

Preferred qualifications include EHS-related licenses or certifications such as Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. Experience managing campus operations with a focus on compliance, research labs, permitting, employee safety, and emergency management is highly valued. Proven ability to manage complex, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, alongside strong analytical and technical skills including the use of AI tools, will set candidates apart.
