In this role, you will be responsible for daily system health checks, resolving system logs and errors, and managing background jobs. You will ensure the secure movement of system updates and code changes between environments through effective transport management.

Key duties also include installing SAP patches, performing kernel upgrades, and implementing SAP Notes to maintain system integrity. Proficiency in using SAP Solution Manager for alert monitoring and Early Watch Alerts (EWA) is essential for proactive system management.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field is required for this position. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of active experience in SAP Basis administration.

Essential technical skills include hands-on experience with SAP HANA, Oracle databases, and Linux operating systems (SUSE/RHEL). Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and alerts is also crucial for success in this role.
