The Cloud Operations team is seeking a skilled Enterprise Operations Engineer II to advance our customer experience strategy through continuous innovation and problem-solving.

Engage in 24x7 shift operations, maintaining infrastructure stability through comprehensive monitoring. Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across various servers and services. Manage escalations according to established policies and procedures. Communicate incident details clearly via tickets and phone calls. Collaborate with internal teams to address recurring problems and follow up on escalated issues. Demonstrate urgency in issue resolution and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational standards. Contribute to operations runbooks and documentation. Facilitate smooth shift handoffs and prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly).

Possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies. Exhibit a high degree of ownership and responsibility for production servers and services. Experience supporting production applications and incident management is essential. Familiarity with infrastructure and application performance monitoring tools is required. Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, IAM) and Linux systems (vi/vim, netstat, free, ps/top, fstab, disk labels, filesystem, IPtables, sysstat, startup scripts, sudo, selinux, audit logging) is crucial. Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace or Splunk, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages is beneficial. Foundational knowledge of networking, security, TCP/UDP, SSL certificates, and application protocols (SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, SFTP) is necessary.
