Seeking a Senior Service Transition Specialist to expertly manage client engagements, from initial design through to operational readiness. This advanced role focuses on ensuring seamless service transitions within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

The specialist will oversee the entire transition lifecycle for medium to complex client services, bridging the gap between pre-sales activities and post-implementation support. Success in this role is defined by achieving desired service outcomes and maintaining client satisfaction throughout the process.

Develop comprehensive project plans and accurate scoping for transition programs. Implement, govern, and control transition projects from start to finish. Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders.

Facilitate engagement sessions, manage and mitigate transition risks, and handle client escalations effectively. Address requirement mismatches and new demands through variance orders. Report on transition progress, identify major issues, and ensure successful handover to service operations.

Manage virtual teams to achieve transition and transformation project goals. Validate and test services meticulously. Support new services via an Early-life-support model as needed, ensuring all projects meet objectives and deadlines.

Requires an advanced understanding of our service portfolio and capabilities, coupled with a proven track record in managing complex IT service transitions. Deep knowledge of project and transition management governance, frameworks, and methodologies is essential.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are vital for senior-level interactions. The ability to interpret contractual documents, present effectively, and organize tasks is expected. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities are key.

Candidates should possess advanced planning and scheduling skills, a proactive approach to issue mitigation, and strong business and commercial acumen.
